DATAVISION TO KICKSTART THE TACIP PROJECT IN TANZANIA
DataVision International and Tanzania Federation of Crafts and Arts have joined hands to implement the Tanzania Art and Craft Identification Project (TACIP) which aims at bringing formality in the Arts and Crafts industry in the country.
Art in Tanzania is a symbol of identity and there are a substantial number of citizens who get their daily bread from similar activities from sculptors, painters, designers and many more. Considering this substantial number of stakeholders there is less or no formality on how this field operates which highly impacts the industry.
The TACIP project sets out to enroll and identify all the stakeholders who are involved in this and have them properly managed in membership platform which can increase a networking aspect of the associations within TAFCA. All the member will have a TAFCA card which come with several benefits
TACIP aims at boosting the marketing channels of the Tanzanian Arts and Crafts to external markets by implementing an e-commerce portal to enable potential clients across the globe to be able to purchase the products and have them delivered to their addresses.
