DataVision to coducts the Data Collection for the UNICEF SBR Project
DataVision International has been contracted by AAN Associates (AAN) –Pakistan to provide data collection services for evaluation of the simplified birth registration system in mainland Tanzania. As part of its simplified birth registration programme, UNICEF has implemented awareness campaigns including road shows, radio announcements, distribution of printed materials, and community meetings, in phases, between 2013 and 2019.
Data collection will be both qualitative and quantitative and will be implemented in 3 treatment regions (Mbeya, Iringa and Dodoma) as well as control regions namely Tabora and Manyara.
The objective of the household survey (HHS) and the Focus Group Discussions (FGD) is to understand the knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) of parents and caregivers aged 15-65 i.e. female respondents including teenage and unwed women as mothers, male respondents as fathers, and caregivers (daughters, sons, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters, brothers, aunt, uncle, or grandparents).
