The Research and Statistics team led by Mr. William Kihula (Research and Statistics Manager) with other 7 experienced consultants and 45 assessors are leaving tomorrow for Lindi to undertake a project contracted to DataVision International by The Ministry of Education (MoeVT) in Collaboration with Aga Khan Foundation.
DataVision will conduct a project baseline to understand how pupils perform in Early Grade Mathematics Assessment (EGMA) and Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) using tablets to deploy the data collection process.
The team leader and the manager of the department of Research & Statistics, Mr. William Kihula stated that, “At DataVision, we are used to work in different environments and remote places especially in Research and Statistics projects. This project is more or less the same as what we have done with other clients such as RTI and USAID.
On this project we will use our tablet based data collection technology is an efficient tool which provides a seamless flow of data from the research sites to our servers where reports will be created thereafter.”
